i have just bought one of those chassis from dinball, by the way if you buy it from there website its $35.90, havn't been on the track with it yet, but it looks good quality, its slightly heavier than the k-factory 4mm chassis i beleive.

Default Chassis

I has the 3 racing chassis for my NTC3. They are ok, just a little stronger than a stock one.

I brought a 3-racing chassis for the G4 last week... For the price and the durabilty of the upgrade... You can't beat it.

I have one stock chassis on one G4 and the other I have the 3-Racing chassis... The 3-Racing 4mm chassis is way better then stock. I've had two stock chassis that developed a small crack in the same spot. Didn't affect handling and can be fixed at a welding shop with not problem... I was trying to locate the k-factory chassis at a fair price and just couldn't fine one... Came across the 3-racing chassis and just couldn't pass it up... Great investment.. It does weigh more then stock, but the chassis will bring the car up to ROAR reg. weight. My car is just a tad slower with 3-racing 4mm chassis but no one else can really tell the difference. If anyone is looking to upgrade from the stock chassis... And you heard it from me first... The 3-racing chassis is the way to go as far as price and over all value... If you can find the K-factory chassis, buy it.. But for $80.00 USD. you can buy two 3-racing chassis and still have some change left over... K-factory is a little better, but you can't go wrong with the 3-racing...Good fit and finish and that price... WOW...

Default chassis

Alan,

I have the K-factory chassis in stock, they are $72 plus shipping. If you spend $100 shipping in the US is on me.

Rc-Alan,

Hiya...where did the crack developed on the chassis. Well, you guessed it.....a crack apppeared in the screw hole of the chassis , where the front of the side plate ( the servo side )

What is the weight different between the stock, K factory and 3R chassis ?

xtreme888... The crack in my chassis's were in the same place as yours... The stock chassis is super-lite and makes the car under weight. That's great if you're just at the track having fun and killing the guy trying to catch you down the back straight before the sweeper... The K-factory chassis and the 3-racing chassis are about the same in weight... If anyone has any sound facts about the weight of all three chassis.. Post them. From what I've seen, the K-factory and the 3-racing chassis are so close in weight that you can't tell the difference. RCNUT... sound like a great deal for free shipping for anything over $100.00... What did Nickko say about you getting all the G4 parts direct for Team Magic???

Getting them direct was a no go. But I do now have another distributor that is getting parts this coming week. Trinity did get a big order in yesterday and I picked up about $2K worth of parts so I have alot.

Before anyone asks, I do not have K1470. I should be able to get them next week. I do have

chassis
rear shock towers
gas tanks(blue dot)
pulleys
belts
and more that was just off the top of my head. I will post inventory on here later tonight.

I will also be getting stainless steel screw kits for the G4. I have a few now but will be getting more in.

I just put the steering assembly together and it does seem a little stiff. Is there anything I should check before I go any further. I saw some of you were grinding part of the bulkhead, but I don't really see the need to...

Also what pipes are you guys using? I have a Fantom engine, so maybe more of a torque pipe would be better.

Default E Class

Hiya all TM owners,

Where is the cheapest place to pick up a E class ?
A rough price and also shipped to the UK

Gosh this car just get better each time i go down the track!!!
It is more fun than my 1/8th MRX 3 ( Rody C5 ), hence want another one with essential carbon parts and solid rear axle !!!

STS 5 ports or RB V12 are they any good ? And how they compares with RR12L5 coz i want to get another outlaw engine as we race open class over here. Basically what is the quickest outlaw out there in America ( any personal experiences would be helpful ).

Thanks

From what i have been able to find on the net, the 3 racing chassis is approx. 200gms, k factory about 138gms and when I weighed my original it was 110gms.
Sounds like the original chassis' have a problem around the bolt hole. mine cracked as well. (sorry about the metric measurements, thats what we use here down under)
