digital servos have kind of a buzzing sound when they're under stress, your throttle spring between the arm and ball cup might be too tight but you need some of this stress to ensure the carb will return to true idle.

Is the servo brand new or used? I've heard buzzing, but never clicking. Try removing the servo horn and turn it on. If you still hear clicking, something is wrong with the servo.

Guys are you all saying only when you hear a buzzing sound in the 9451 there is a problem, because I hear buzzing nearly everytime.

I really thought it was normal with these servos??

ok... thank u.

i know what is the problem now.

u r right. the sound is resulted by the force against the servo. i took out the servo & let them sit freely... no sound. if i used my finger to push them sligthly... the sound was back on.

so,..... we hv to live with that sound?? nothing we can do???

i just wanna be sure that the sound is a norm... scared something happened to my servos only.

If you hear clicking sound or rattling sound, it means the very bottom gear is already chipping.

If it buzzing sound ( when you twist the horn ) it is fine...... it's perfect.

Always set your EPA ( End Point Adjustment ) when your throttle or steering has reached maximum point, stop there, set EPA, and you should hear the buzzing noise is silent or almost silent. If you keep pushing : two things will happen : 1. rapid battery drainage and/or 2. chipping gear.
