To see the water swirl the wrong way of course. Kind of like an animal staring in to a car's headlights. A

Ok real MTX2 Q. Car makes a squealing sound when I take off from a stand still. No sound when I blip the throttle holding the car off the ground. The car is really slow in 1st gear and getting past left and right in the infield. I blow by everyone on the back straight when 2nd kicks in. Checked the one way bearing by hand and can't get it to slip so I'm assuming it's fine.

What is the problem?

Well there doesn't seem to be any problems in 2nd gear and the Centax has been cleaned and rebuilt already.

Did that a couple of times. Once with a very light coat of oneway grease. Once with no grease per the great Manticore and Novarossi. Still sqeals like a pig.

LOL, did that Monday. I'm with nova racer, I'll bet it's the one way bearing in the 1st gear housing. Had one slip on me in another car, chased it for over a week before I figured it out. I did the "old hand check" several times and it seemed fine also.

Ok I guess I'll buy a new 1st gear adapter.

Don't you have a quota to save at least 1 person a day?

check your gear alignment. the axle of the gears are not parallel.
