Let me translate this into English for everyone:

Following a successful 2007 season Motonica proudly introduces the updated 2008 P8.0R.

Team driver tests and race results have confirmed the highest performance levels for the P8.0R 2008.

The most significant changes resulting in noteworthy improvements in quality, performance and reliability are:

New chassis with a redesigned center section to improve driveability and to allow either AAA or 2/3A receiver packs to be fitted.

New fuel tank designed to allow any engine to perform to its full potential at any track while also providing excellent accessibility under the tank itself.

New radio tray to fit the new tank and provide for transponder mounting.

New front bulkheads and a shock absorber mount providing more secure shock mounting.

New rear body mount and carbon fiber guide plate to increase the stiffness of the “bridge”.

Moreover, the full kit has been improved in general quality. Among them the most evident improvements are:

New materials for some parts of the clutch.

New highest-quality one-way bearings.

New color instruction manual with simplified assembly steps.

Ya know, If someone were to act quickly we could still an associate sponsorship at the Winter Nats.

The T-shirts are already done (they look awesome) but we could get some banners on the track fence ... maybe even over the entrance to the track.

Garen if there is any interest PM me QUICK

Default clutch spring spec's

help!

i managed to lose configuration control. i have a handful (5) different clutch springs in a pile and have forgotten which is which.

Specifically, i was wondering if somebody has a standard motonica clutch spring and could please count the number of turns and measure the wire diameter and free length?

i am suspicious that the motonica spring is the fairly soft shortish spring with 1.7 mm wire compared to the others in my pile.

thanks for the help,
tony

Tony- the spring in my clutch has 3.5 coils, appx 1.7mm thickness

Ocktober- 08 cars and upgrade kits are on the way. I got a parts shipment in and some of the 08 parts were in it. The motonicausa site was owned by Paul Q, a dealer for Motonica. For reasons I won't get into he has closed up shop. He was not the importer for Motonica, only a dealer. More info on this coming soon.
