I have been told that the 4mm shock towers are not going to be available for a while. What a lot of us have been doing is doubling up on the stock shock towers. I used ca to glue 2 of the stock shock towers together and used 3x12mm screws to mount the shocks to the shock tower. This has worked nicely for me.

Yeah, I just bought the mtx-4 and awaiting it's arrival. Now, I'm just looking at other parts I want to inter-change. What's your reason to get the RRR? Is there a better one out there? I don't even know where to search for a carbon-side brace. Any help is appreciated. I've been beating on my NTC3 for years. I can keep up with most of the RRR, Mugens, Serpents etc. on the straights but I get killed on the turns (handling) -- I just can't hang. I think it is time to retire the NTC3. It's been a good run with that car. I'm finally going to admit I'm outclassed. LOL. Well I knew this before when I first seen the other cars run but now I'm admitting it, that and plus I got s little raised so I have a little cash to play with.

Some of the CA will most likely seep out from between the two towers when you put them together. I used two 3mm screws to line the holes up right after I put them together before the CA cured to make sure the holes are all in line. Be carefull not to CA the screws to the towers. If you do by chance get CA on the screws you could try backing the screws out by unscrewing them with hex wrench or you can use some CA uncure. I have gone back around the seams and put some CA on the cracks. I don't know if this is necessary but, it probably wouldn't hurt.
As for the 3Racing stuff. I have never tried them mainly because some of the other racers at our local track have indicated to me that their parts are not the best quality or fit. I heard their universals are not as strong as one would like. I would be careful.
