hello there,

this is what i think about the changes in the 09 Kit,

i would say Durability and more run time is the key with less maintenance since all the main changes are made to strengthen the car as you can see, CVDs all around, aluminum shocks, V2 suspension parts (eventhough the stock ones are unbreakable), new fuel tank (better seal) i changed 2 on my NT1 in 2 seasons. belt tensioner posts, old one is not very good.

now is it worth the investment?? its your call. it wont change alot how the car reacts on the track but it will defintly boost the durability of the car. i think its worth it since durable car = less worries during races = less mechanical faliure = bring home the trophy

and trust me on this, never use a 3racing part on your NT1, its like havin a chinese blower on your new 2009 corvette Z06

i've been running my 08 NT1 for 2 years now, never broke a plastic part or changed a major part
(pullies/belts/spur gears and thats all you need for major races)
and guess what, i've just recieved my 09 Kit, lightly used for 300 dollars shipped to Kuwait. you can find great deals on this site for used NT1.

engines = Murnan modified motors = insane power (if you can handle it )

also this is his thread in rc tech.

Has anyone ever had there Nt1, spin out, when shifting from first to second down the straight away. And the rear end losing traction when you get on power coming out of a turn.
rwhit, this might help solve your problem.

Ali the V2 parts are a harder plastic if you race on a slippery track then the original arms which are softer will give more grip. infact you probably want more flex anyway. just get the V2 tank (the top part of the lid has rubber so it seals really good) and that's it. maybe the new belt tensioner if you need it to go tighter.

Even so, $250+40+30+40= $360.

So what do you think?
What engine do you suggest and what pipe?[/QUOTE]
for me I run either the novarossi 3sct tune or the 353 race 09 tune version match it with say a 2630 4 or 5 fin manifold and if you have tune and setup nothing will catch you.
cheers

i use a MaxPower XXL3 and it has alot of power combined with a 2630 pipe,
its one of the best engines you can buy IMO....my other weapon is a Murnan Modified M353R (tuned) full ceramic....words cant describe the insane power of this engine, run time is 5:20 it powered my NT1 to win the National Championship.

cheers
