Default 2007 IFMAR 1/8th Worlds .

Guys ,news just in.
South Africa will be hosting the 2007 IFMAR 1/8th worlds in Pretoria ,South Africa.
Date is yet to be confirmed.
Awesome news for us ,have a look at www.trap.co.za for a few pics of on road track.
Also ,I know its a bit short notice but there will be a international Invitational race held Next month in conjunction with off road the following weekend.
"The African Cup" will be held on the following dates.
6-8 October is onroad.
13-15 October is offroad.

Forgot to mention all international entries will be accomodated by the host club ,so you need to pay for your airline ticket and need spending money only.
Hope there are a few takers as the weather this time of year is exceptional.

IS this the IFMAR 1/8th Onroad worlds. I thought it was designated to be at Argentina in 07. PLease clarify what race this is. Your facility looks great.

1/8 IFMAR On-Road Worlds will be next year and next 1/8 IFMAR Off-Road Worlds will be on 2008. Span of every two years.

Double checked today ,yes its true.
Worlds will be held in SA next year around September.
Official announcement will be made soon.

So the 1/8th scale onroad race will be at my home track. (only 3km from my home).

Better start charging my batteries for next year to record races. Our national event is in a month's time as well.(at this track)

Maybe ill record the 1/8th scale final and post it here so that you guys can see what the layout will be like. ( if you ask nicely )

yeah Ill be there for the onroad and for offroad.
Busy with reservations at the moment ,looking for self catering guest house or cottage in the area.

I will be running at teh next national and will take pics of track and post ASAP.
Am buying a Serpent 1/8 to run at club and nationals so I can enter the worlds.
Wish me luck !
Afterall I want the pros to use there talent and skills to get around this mobile chicane.
