The 35+21 is awesome. I would use it, and keep the OS as a backup.

I personally am in your boat. My top may soon expire after some more racing so instead of buying a new p/s set to see if it works, I'd probably just get that Mega ZX21 DS II race package with pipe. It's complete for $349 with engine, one piece pipe, spare crankshaft I think, and 3 venturi inserts. Not bad if you ask me. The car is composite to combat that horrible vapor lock and something like that can put you out of a race or a practice.

I will have to agree....MEGA package deal are probably the best thing for the performance and price both....not Nova Rossi 35 plus, but close enough. and way way cheaper.

Also...plenty of new but powerfull brand like the new MEGA MF series, Mugen NINJA series, Nova Rossi PLUS series....MAX, JP....too many, but those are "SKY" price engine.

Yeah think about it - you can buy two Mega power paks for the price of ONE engine, which could be destroyed in a really hard crash. Not to mention you didn't buy the pipe that can run you another $70+.

..An RB C5 is bullet proof if you break it in correctly. Your better LHS's will carry them. Parts are readily available, and easy to tune. In stock form, they make excellent power w/ good mileage. Runs about $460. RB has a new .21 called the Xenon. I haven't heard much on this but it goes for under $400
