I think you are only referring to the engine. He must still use the on-road headers and pipes.

True, but an offroad engine is a bit milder in its top rpm and so better to run long straights. Only problem is the larger head that is closer to the handle bar and can cause painful fingers. If it is the 1st nitro engine experience then for sure a cheaper engine is adviseable, the OSMAX R21-max is a cheaper onroad engine with decent performance.

The Novarossi engine came with the car- I don't have to buy it so it is the cheapest option.

Of course, he just doesn't need a competition engine. But at least he has an engine, doesn't need to invest in one yet
