Default Servo Recommendation for 1/8 GT car

Any Steering servo recommendation for an 1/8 GT car? If best under $100.

What have jou find out by your self? This is such a question that can go in all directions. You want something of at least 12kg force and a speed of arround 0.1sec
May it be 6v or does it need to be HV?

Savox and Power HD are popular brands with a wide range.

Thanks for the feedback. 12kg doesn't seem like much for an 1/8 GT, I thought it needed more than that. I am planning to use it with the HW XR PRO ESC, so it would be running at 7.4v. I have been out for years and only familiar with a few 10th touring servo. AGFRC 19kg A50BHL. And PowerHD R12. I saw AGFRC have a 32kg model, but it looks like it's more for a truggy.

https://www.promodeler.com/DS90DLHV probably the best budget servo out there in the moment!

PowerHD S35 or S25. I've been using these for a long time now. Great servos + SSR support

SSR is a super fast signal used with high end Sanwa radio's, that is different fron a normal servo signal.

Although out of the price range you posted I use the S8HV-SR from Pro Performance Rc in all of my 1/8 on road cars. The specs are on point at .06/250oz and SSR/SXR compatible. The control that they give me is truly amazing

And why does this reaction fit with the 100 dollar limit the topicstarter mentioned?
I know you like to promote your 190 dollar servo's but please, in this topic it has totally no sense.

sanwa makes an excellent range of mid priced servo’s.

SANWA

or

SANWA

will both be very good and available at your price range.
I do suggest strong servo’s for GT. Over 20kgs. The motion range for the servo is very limited due to the linkage of most GT cars. So only a small angle of the servo is used to get to full wheel deflection. This necessitates lot’s of tourque.
speed is not important. Most servo’s will be more than fast enough.

Sorry but not sorry that my opinion offends you. Maybe the original poster would decide to put out a little more for something that is that much better suited for his needs, but hence why I stated outside of the $100 range that didn’t seem to be set in stone anyway bc if you could read said best if under. Btw I utilized the search function but cannot find anywhere as per who made you the police of Rc tech. Get a life

Both of these are way too slow transit for competitive racing in most people’s opinion who are skilled in the class
