Thanks a lot for all the close-up pics dremelboy, these Ninjas really look like a fine piece of artwork to me... But still...I wonder what actually happen to the T01?

The T-01 was never set to come out the same time as the .21 engines. When you see the .21 engines hit the hobby stores the .12 and .28 engines will be out one month later.

so here is what we know on the motors so far guys

the estimated street price on the on road .21's will be around $379.99 for the first batch, this is an introductory price and will probably go up to $399.99 for the engines after the first batch runs out.

the off road motors we will be selling for $309.99 and this is expected to be the price for at least the first batch.

glowplugs will retail for $12.00 per each glowplug, not a 5 pack, 1 single plug will be $12.00 less whatever we discount normally on mugen product, generally 15-20% off that 12 dollars.

if you look closely you can see that the off road motor has the carburator intentionally made the opposite of the onroad carb, this is because the carb normally needs to be turned around to work in offroad applications if the engines are novarossi based or os based.

the .12 and .28 motors are on backorder with us and when mugen recieved them we will do the same and post as much information as we can on here.

as for the internals, for now this is all we can show you, if you need to see what the internals look like to a yahoo or googlel search for the nurenburg toy fair of this past year where there were very detailed pics of the engines internals, i.e cranks, piston and sleeve sets ...etc etc etc.

i have seen the internals on both of the motors pictures and i am confident everyone will be impressed with them. i have spoken to both mike swauger at mugen and chris moore, they have been running and testing the engines for sometime now and have been more than impressed with the results.

be patient all of you out there that want the internals, as soon as i am given the word we will get those pics out there for everyone to see also.

enjoy

$12 for a glowplug seems pretty high. Hopefully the normal turbo plugs from Novarossi will work with them.

as for the glowplugs guys, you do not have to use the ninja original plugs, you can use novarossi based plugs, but even nova plugs will be heading up significantly in price, dont be surprised when plugs reach the $7.50-9.50 price range for a single plug, its coming, novarossi is going through alot of transition it seems and their pricing structure sems all over the place.

novarossi plugs are more affordable at the moment, but i will confidently tell everyone out there that with all the price increases novarossi is putting on O.E.M people like RB concept and even on their own line of plugs, there will be 20-30% plug price increases here in the near future for all of us end users to look forward to.

in a time when novarossi should be lowring prices and being more price competetive they are instead raising prices, time will tell how much longer the consumers will allow this before rebelling and telling them to put it where the sun dont shine.
