Example:
-Everyone (999 entries/333 racers) at the DNC ran three classes let's say 100$ + 50$ + 50$ respective class;
-200$ x 333 = 66600$ income.
Now capped to 1 class would be 333 racers (but you can technically fit 999 into the race program! see why in the first part of the example):
- 100$ x 333 = 33300$
- 100$ x 999 = 99900$
For the capped classes to happen the attendance has to grow and sure it can. Management has a loss if class price stays the same but can profit more if more racers come and still have the same amount of races/work. The key words here being "more racers".
Yes but you can limit classes without limiting entries, that's what I'm talking about. Imagine like one racer alone driving 1/8th nitro and electric, 1/10th nitro and electric and claiming the track got 4 classes, it had 4 classes but with one racer at a time. Also not being picky but everyone should spread the word about RC not just the media

Yes let it grow. But a controlled grow. Not a Python epidemic like in Florida...
3-4 classes split into 3 groups. Nitro Buggy, Nitro Truggy, E-buggy, and one more, pick one... if any, but the +40 class is always a good one.
Sportsman- No sponsorships what so ever. E-buggy not offered.
Open- No Chassis or motor Sponsorships. Both nitro classes and E-buggy
Pro-Open to any and all. All classes.
And +40. Nitro buggy and Truggy only.
Wednesday and Thursday open practice.
Friday practice till 11AM for those that couldn't make it on the previous 2 days ( must show proof) 12pm One round of heats.
Saturday 2 heats, lower mains. Finish around 10PM.
Sunday, finish the mains.
Easy peasy.
Cap the entries at 1200. Make it $75 per class. Not $100 for the first, $50 for the second....
There will be guys running all 4. Most will run at least 2 or 3. Makes the promoter money, days will be shorter, track time is equal(ish) race is still off the hook.
Just an idea.

Running Late models and Modified's was anywhere from $100 for a local show (run of the mill everyday weekend) to $250 for a $5000 to win just to enter into the race. That didn't include pit passes at $25 a piece ( yes, most of that was for insurance). Pit would rake in 5-7k for the normal weekends and 10-15k easy on the big races.
Last time I went to PNB, I spent $200 just in entries. 150 for the 2 nitros and 50 for the electric. It was the third class that got me the $25 discount
I ran that one just to get extra track time.
That was one of the years that Lutz ran all 5 classes. He top 5ed all of them. Talk about Ironman!!!

There should be NO E anything at the NITRO CHALLENGE... Now at the LIPO CHALLENGE. absolutely. But I have a genuine disdain for ebuggy so dont mind me.
