Mugen - last one was relased with just different body and looks, but is still a few years old

Hot Bodies - No clue, but I know it has been out for a while

Kyosho - St-r to st-rr = stretched chassis and slightly stronger axles, st-rr to st-rr evo body difference, thats it.

Associated - other than the body swap, aluminum parts, and adjustable bushings hasn't changed in a few years

Losi - only one with a decent change between the 1 and 2, but still has been out for a while.

Basically none of the top brands are doing anything with truggy, so I doubt anything will change this year.
Isn't Xray working on the new XT9 truggy ?

Still hope they'll come out with a new 8T.
There are things that could be made better.

The question is: would it be profitable for them to do so ?

BTW

It would be real nice, if you, TLR guys could at least make a clear statement about plans, or lack of those considering the 8T.
Is 8IGHT 3.0 the only race 8th off road model to be supported by TLR ?
Is Losi 8T RTR also going to be retired ?

What about parts support ?

Thanks in advance for any info!

I can't answer that until I try for myself. My thinking is the new buggy 3.0 has much longer droop then the 2.0b and the 2.0 truggy has 110 front 127 rear droop, that is a lot of droop for any buggy shocks to make up but could be possible. My opinion is the 3.0 buggy shocks may be a little shorter, probably around 7-12mm short but I'd be willing to bet when the 2.0 truggy shocks settle I bet they are the same as full length 3.0 shocks which means you could use longer spring that would work. Very complex but I bet the right springs from another manufacture would work.

So i was looking to buying a new 2.0 truggy for this season, but no, thats not possible.
TLR get to the start area already, i cant live in this limbo, i cant buy the old one, and i cant buy the new one. Parts are getting harder to get because the shops dont want to stock any more than strictly needed.

Your leaving us hanging here with nowhere to go but the competition.

Good Luck with that. They are not the most business honest people. I understand both sides, but because I was told NO NEW BUGGY in Jan by Losi insiders, Im now sitting on $500 in 2.0 buggy parts. They only care about the LHS.

As far as the truggy. There is no 2.0, parts ARE getting rare and I was told, they are trying something new for the truggy. So you will not know until they release the car in Germany. I got tired of the games they play and just decided to go with another company. This stuff cost way to much money for these kinds of games.
