I'm not yet since they are a significant price for the upgrade...But according to the one of the main Ofna guys, the new X1X's will have the spiral cut gears included.

They say they give a more direct transmision of power and better performance, but I haven't tried them myself, nope (I bet you can guess why!! heheheh), so I can't say first hand if you can really tell a difference.

Another hop-up that looks interesting are the lightened differential cups (lower rotational mass=better acceleration), but ...same story!!!

Your right i was trying to be helpful but as you can see the 2 respondee's so far have not tried them (including you that makes 3)...IMO at $60 for something thats not a MUST HAVE upgrade will severely limit the amount of people with them...

BUT since the new x1x's include them we should start seeing more of them in the wild.

the kit does not come with lighten outdrives, that's an option part.

I installed the lightweight outdrives all around pretty soon after I got my buggy and I did notice a difference in performance. Believe it or not, it does help your drivetrain to spin a little more smoothly since it's lighter weight, and it also helps increase the "snap" of your drivetrain off the line. However only someone with a good feel of their buggy would be able to notice it, so noobs or bashers need not apply.

In other words, it's not much of an improvement unless you are looking for it.

You run on a track big enough for a 46T, or would you use a 15 or 16T clutchbell?? Just curious.

BTW...I used to play pro ball in S. Amer. (Loved the time I spent there!!)
