Mac.. show us your top view picture of yer buggy. u isolated yer radio, receiver but didnt change yer servos, right... perhaps the servo the prob.

but, the throttle setup also may caused the glitching. metal to metal as u mentioned. u can tried the heatshrink thing 1st. other than watching the full picture, thats all u can try for now. my 1 cent advice.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I believe centre oils thicker than 20k makes very little difference. It seems the front stays constant varying from 3k to 10k for steering. Main differences is centre and rear.

for chad Bradley... he never used more than 5K for the rear.well, as published in his setup site.
i believe only Yannick Aigon, The RB, Xray guy, use thicker diff at rear.. becoz he said he got lots of steering from the xray & his driving style.

arghhh... LKH also use thicker rear diff 10K, for the borneo cup race. i think he got points there. he end up 2nd with X1CR + RB combo

*** i use 5K, 7K, grease+1K (X1CR+STS 21BT)... i also end up same lap with him at qualifying ...

does this point count

Quote from other forum:

"2006 world championship

Jon Dell, the mechanic of Jon Hazlewood:
"we went from 10 000 in rear to 5 000 and from 7000 in center to 4000. This made the car easier to drive and for the future of the track this is a good change"

Yannick Aigoin, Team XRAY France:
"I started with 5000/7000/10 000 oils in the diffs but changed as the track got more gripy so I have changed to 10 000/10 000/20 000. I believe tomorrow I will still have to change the front oil for 15 000 or even 20 000 because I have still plenty of steering and I need to gain more stability in the corners"

thanks for the help JFC, but i changed the servo too. i am 95% sure that it is the switch now because last night i opened up the switch case and the solder joints were barely connected. so i tossed it out for a new one, did a bench test, and it worked fine. now i just need to do a running test to be 100% sure.

Default Servo Issue

My Futaba 9350 throttle servo glitches now and then. I cannot simulate the problem. Evry so often unexpectedly it would move on its own without me touching the remote. If I try to find a problem everything is perfect. What can one do about this.

I use MARS radio with Spectrum

digital radios glitch like that sometimes, they're very sensitive to changes in current. my servos wiggle sometimes when i place the glow ignitor on the glow plug, then they are fine.
