In a truggy the +4 is inadequate. Actually it's just plain weak. The speed is my all time favorite, but it just cost too damn much. The JX runs great but it's off the hook when you swap the crankcase out for a speed/v spec. I will always have a speed. Only my opinion though.

I live in Poland and price for shipping from amain is high + 22% TAX, from Rcmushroom,408 + 25 = 433 but it's no TAX beacuse they reduce price for example in this year i bought novarossi 9901 and I paid 90$ with shipping to Poland ,on the package was 25$

Pipe; Maybe something cheaper than OS 2060(120$ Combo on rcmushroom :/)?

Regards

EDIT: What's the best plug for Speed ? OS P3 or OS P4 , maybe O'Donnel 97T ?

i have only had vspecs and ninjas, and i love my ninja. Performs just as good or better then anything anyone has at the track. I will probably never run anything else. And you can get several rebuilds out of it, maybe more. The crankcase and crank last forever. I have many gallons on mine and the crank still shows no wear. Awsome.

bearings/rod/pinch = new engine.

That's a steal for the speed!!

If you need a cheaper alternative to the 2060, the losi RE10 is very good on the speed. OS P3 plugs.

........ speed is good, but I think it depends on location and application. I have had my speed for nearly 2 years and it has less than 2 gallons total, including breakin. I am on my 3rd ninja, with over 10 gallons between them all.

Token, you know who I am. And you see the crowd we run with. Its a mix of both engines.

Jammin, i am willin to listen but why is a speed better then a ninja? I can out run a speed(just barley) on the straight, the punch the pretty similar. idk what speeds get on fuel milage but my ninja isnt broken in yet and im getting 9.5 min at the nitro pit with 7 mm res and 220 temps, and the ninja is 200 dollars less.

Ninja is like the next best thing so that makes this hard to argue. But the smoothness of the OS Speed is something that I feel makes it better. Some may feel the opposite. I personally like a very smooth powerband. The speed provides that. The speed also gets a bit better mileage. Not much more but some none the less. I don't know if the speed is 200 dollars better than the ninja, but to me it is better. I'd take either engine any day! They're both great engines and very close in every category.

ok good enough, ive never driven a speed so i cant comment on the powerband. Im with you tho, i like a very smooth powerband, with sayin that i am very happy with the ninja. I won a ninja for getting 2nd place/Intermediate buggy in Arizona Winter Series, i put it in my truggy, i like it so much a bought one for my new buggy as well
