holeshots are still bad ars.
the aka rim is wider, this will give the tire a flatter profile.
the firmer foam works well on a higher bite track, like the evo proline foam
i have a set mounted with the aka foam/rim for sat nite racing.
OR you can set them aside and when your done with a set of newer proline tires with the v2 foam you can reuse the foam and mount up a set of holeshots on proline rims.

I have some 1 run Proline tires and Proline and Associated rims, will the aka foams fit on those? The proline wheels seemed a little narrow.

or you could sell them and pick up your favorite tire brand.

If you are buying new wheels and foams anyway why not just buy the Proline evo foam and V2 wheels? Associated and Mugen sell the larger wheels now too. Holeshots should mount up fine on the older wheels too. I am not sure how well the newer foams mount up on those wheels. You will just have to try it and see how it fits before you glue them up.
