97t or 77t. These are the two plugs that are used in this engine.

we the o'donnell team are running the OD87T plug in ours.... the new plug will be out in the next week or 2. check with tower hobbies on the due date of these plugs. they work really really good in these motors. jeremy

Just picked up one of these engines.. Looking forward to breaking in and running it in the next few weeks.. How does it perform in real world racing? All the specs and write ups seem great.. Is the bottom end good, I run a dirt oval with about 250' run line and hope this will work good!
Thanks

as for pipe you have 3 options... o.s. 2050/2060 and the o'donnell r2 pipe part # is (odog8000) all work very weel 2050 low end truggy 2060 smooth low end buggy and r2 all around smooth
it is similar to a v-spec but a smoother power band.... jeremy

The best motor on the market by far and the best pricing .it is a long term motor for the price instead of the 1 week to 1 day motors that are out there for the same price .
I seen racers at the pre worlds in pattaya thailand PRC running in a new engine everyday day (i wont mention which brand names )
we run the odonnell engine with quality fuel (not junk like most fuels in Australia) 6.0-6.5 restrictor ,3 chamber femca 8709-70 pipe and we can achieve 10 minutes run time in a buggy .
This motor has an excellent power band very smooth and linear but dont try and get blood out of a stone or you will kill it .stick to the 105 degree c temp plus or minus 10 degrees c and you will have no issues.
plugs to use 97T and 87T not os p3 plugs or p4 or anything else just use what is recommended and you will not have a problem .
change the conrod after 7 litres of fuel and the o ring set for the carby when you feel the adjustment screws becoming a little loose other than those little maintenance procedures nothing else is needed .
