I agree it's a good idea but I bet I can tell you what the owners will say:

"There already is an exclusive nitro engine forum. So what if it's a subforum under the onroad section, they can make an extra click. It doesn't say onroad only anywhere."

Hopefully the "owners" of an R/C related tech forum understand that there is no comparison between an on road and off road engine.

The on road guys don't want a bunch of us guys on their board asking how to repinch sleeves and asking what the flavor of the month engine is, they want to know how to get 5 minutes of run time out of a $700 engine, what RPM a 2 stage should engage, etc... There are hardly no common questions between on and offroad engines, LOL.

personally i do believe that we should also have a "nitro-offroad engines" thread but do you realize the implications if we did this and what would happen?
it would be craziness and pandemonium!!!

good fun though !!!

i vote for it

it would have to be a seperate top thread like the "nitro off road" is though or else it really wouldnt be seperate

or that sub forum like the on road area .
