Im about to install a new hitec. If I use the blue alum. arm, will I need to drill out the outide hole to a larger diameter to fit the bolt and nut? Surely they dont want me to use the screws included to try and self tap, do they?
Im still new to this btw, first servo upgrade for me.

Yeah, got to drill the arm.
I use the plastic Hitec arms not the aluminum.

Plastic will flex long before it fails, as wher alum won't. While the aluminum is "stronger / stiffer" it is hard to tell if it is about to fail.. But when your EPA's are set correctly with no binding I have yet to see an arm of either style fail.. but if the EPA is set to far causing a bind issue the aluminum will fail before the plastic, due to the added flexability in the plastic..
BTW alum may give slightly better responce due to added rigidity, but in off-road it isn't really noticed..

the Stock horn they include with most of the Ti geared line up is a Joke...its paper thin and WILL fail in an 1/8 application......Racer's Edge just released some SUPER beefy horns....i would personally go that route....even the older gen horns would bend and tweek over time...Losi got it right and made their horns on the thicker side...Now these super horns look pretty indestructible and wont be falling off any time soon.

The included plastic horn is stronger than the Al horn. I think that the give and flex of plastic makes it a little more durable. With Al, every time you hit it it weakens. The plastic soaks up most of that. I think the plastic arm is a tighter fit.
The Hitec plastic arms really do work well. As good as Dubro arms at least.
The racers edge arms look awesome, but the Hitecs are free. I've got a barrel of them in my pit box. I've only killed one and that really wasn't the arms fault.
