Clutch shoes put in wrong?
After i ran my Matrix at a local dirt track i took it apart to check under the clutch bell. I took it off and my jaw dropped... my clutch shoes were maybe 3 mm thick.. What did i do wrong? the first time i put in a 3 shoe system i put them in backwards, so when i started it it just revved and i fixed it and it worked. Now, my clutch shoes were working fine because my car was running. Did they get to hot? what happened to them?
The holes on the shoes (where the pin goes threw) was totally fine, so was the clutch bell just rubbing on the shoes?
I could tell they burnt up because theres white power every where.
Thanks

White Power!
maybe springs are soft? Probably unrelated thing, but I got some XTM shoes and springs to install in my ofna clutch once, and the springs must have been made backwards or something (the winding of the spiral). I couldn't install clutch with them, picked up regular springs and wham its fine. I don't know if XTM runs a reverse clutch or WTH is wrong with it for springs to be backwards

That's pretty damn funny. Never heard it called that.
