Default Losi 8IGHT 2.0 and 1.0, what are the differences?

I know its a newb question...but i am one so i guess it'll be ok. Im just getting back into RC's after a 6 year hiatus. I've always been a Losi guy, and want to get into Truggies. So i have a few questions. I havent been on a track for along time, and wonder if it'd be worth it for me to jump right in and get a 2.0? Or do i just pick up a used 1.0 till i get my skills up? And what are the differences between the 1.0 and 2.0? Can i upconvert the 1.0 to a 2.0? I know these are kinda hard questions to answer, just want to get an idea
