I have a OFNA Hyper7 but all the time, when I am racing I always manage to brake those c-hubs. Can anyone suggest me some soft plastic c-hub. I don`t care about manufacturer it should only be soft to withstand some light impact and no to go hard when I am racing with ambient temperature of -10°C

plastics will get fragile when its cold. you can try to boil the c-hubs for 10-15 minutes to make them more flexible. works under normal temperatures but who knows if they will stay flexible when it's freezing outside

BTW. -10°C indoors no wind. At least engines are going more powerful.

carefull with aluminum. you will start breaking next weakest part most likely arms. start with the boiling method its proven to make plastic more flexible -> resistant to impact

Logika, first off you shouldn't doubt your cars durability. The hyper7 is known to be one of the strongest cars out there. In those temperatures the plastic from any manufacturer will become brittle. +1 on trying to boil your c-hubs first. You might want to consider doing that to your wing mounts too.

Do they even make CNC C-hubs for the Hyper 7? I haven't been able to find them. I would have bought them by now. We have been practicing indoors at around 30 degrees F and I've been breaking those and wheels left and right. I lost two of them in the first 10 minutes of driving last friday. I'm fairly new to this, but I'm not a terrible driver....the C-hubs just aren't holding up.

If you could find a set to compare, I thought the kyosho K3 could swap parts with the hyper 7 and the old hotbodies cars. Not sure if the c hubs would work or not..

No, they dont have any alu c-hubs for hyper-7, but i can make them myself.

The track which I am racing on is on tarmac. It`s like buggy based onroad for offroaders to spend the winter more fun way. Overall the price of the car is 100$ no more, found some old engine, some cheap chinese servos, my onroad electronics, some nitro fuel. And I have easily beaten those guys, whose cars cost over 1000$. Came in 4th out of 17 .

I dont think I need wing mount reinforcments it never touches anything.

Convert to the pivot ball design, never have another problem!...I ran the Hyper 7 PBS for 5 years never broke any part of the front suspension

Its not that simple, as they do not have a complete kit that has everythng you need. If you call Nitrohouse @ 1-800-928-0304 they will put a package together for you, and give you all the part numbers and prices

Or maybe check if you can adapt XB8EC C hub/ steering knuckle. I never ever saw a XB8 Ec front end brake
