Since there is no race class for the SC8 yet, other than monster, why bother with a conversion.

Just slap a clear Slash body on with some SC8 wheels & tires. You'll have to rig some body mounts but thats easy enough. sure will be faster than a Slayer!

RC8-T chassis, SC8 bumpers, roll cage (optional) and SC8 body. SC8 is RC8 suspension on an RC8-T chassis.

Also tires......

After buying all the parts necessary (and the time spent working on it), you would almost be better off buying a separate vehicle. If you have the buggy, you would have to buy the 8-T chassis, body, bumpers, rollcage & tires, strip down everything off the buggy chassis and screw it onto the truck chassis.

If you have an 8-T, you would have to strip off the Truggy suspension at both ends, install the BUGGY suspension, then add the bumpers, body, rollcage, and tires.....

Or like ZeroDefect said, use a Slash body and the SC8 tires, improvise the body mounting..... a while back, I sat an RC8 and a Slash side-by-side and the wheelbase is IDENTICAL. So the wheel openings would match up perfectly.....hmmmmmmm.......that almost makes me want to try the same thing!

I am doing this right now with a Losi Eight. I needed chassis, center drives, fuel tank and shock towers. We have a growing class of these in Tampa.

I wish they would just put out a pro kit version of the SC8, probably sell even more of them.

Yes, and sell all the RTR stuff that comes with it if you already have motor and electronics.
