Post hpi firestorm SWEET or not sweet

hey i am thinking of getting an hpi firestorm but is it a good truck or not?
And how good do they run? how hard or easy is it to break parts? and is it worth $250 for a fun basher and MAYBE a track truck?

hope to hear some comments

I would see what your local hobby stores carry parts for. If you are eventually looking to race, I would say get the Associated GT2 or the Losi XXX-NT RTR. Parts are easy to get for those trucks and they can be upgraded with the race truck parts.

yeah i see what ur saying and ive heard that it has great handling and that they couldd be a good track truck. but they do have a really good look and sweet design but ive heard that they have an easy time breaking the bulkhead....

i've got a firestorm and its a great basher. it was designed by the guy who did the pro 4 so the design is good. as for racing i dont know, heres no tracks here, but i hear its quite good. and i quote 'it comes out of corners like a bear'. if you're planning on bashing and doing a bit of racing go for it. if you plan on racing it full time i dont know.

Haven't seen one in person but looking at it, it looks like a novice version of the GT2. It shares a lot of design cues and shapes.

hehe, I'd wait for someone else to buy it before I got one

actually looking at the designs the gt2 is just a hopped up firestorm! of course the firestorm still looks cooler. i guess the design was sold by a 3rd party and bought by hpi and assosciated.
