I put this on its own thread. Maybe I will get some more traction here.
I kinda need some adivse on what to change next on my Losi 8 B for performance. My problem is the back end. I cannot seem to get it tight and feels really loose in the back.
I am having a problem on the turns and getting it squared up to hit the straight. It seems that when going into turns the back end spins out and when coming of of turns its loose as well. I just feel like I have no grip and the buggy dose not want to plant itself to the ground as it keeps bouncing all around the place.
I cant hit the straight full power due to this.
Here is my current set up what should I try next to tame it down for more grip?
1) Shocks were just serviced with recommend weight
2) Sliver springs in the front and green in the back
3) AKA City Blocks Medium
4) Diffs front 5 middle 5 rear 2

quick question,
Just about finished with my 8ight. What spares would you guys keep in the pitbox? Any parts that tend to break easier with this buggy. Nothing worse than hitting the track and not having a spare when something blows. The hobby stores near my local track doesn't carry Losi parts so let me know what I should have on hand. Thanks.

Dishsoap: Try a softer tire, Losi cars really seem to like softer compounds. I only run M2 or similar harder compounds on certain tracks. I ran M3 Bowties when I was down there or maybe even Red Eclipses if it's drier. Also you should try wider hexes in the rear LOSA3532. This will lock in the rear a little more and not allow it to swing around as easily.

Talk to Chuck or Casey if you see them and they should be a little more help.

Should I go with the 1/2 inch hex or the 2mm hex.
It looks like the 1/2 in hex is too wide.
