Exclamation 2021-2022 Silly Season

From HB Racing's Facebook page:

BERTIN AND RONNEFALK DEPART FROM HB RACING
Adrien Bertin and David Ronnefalk have announced the decision to end their contract with HB Racing and Neidhart SA.
Owner Philippe Neidhart and the entire team thank them for 14 years of collaboration, winning worlds, European and National championships, and we wish them the best of luck in the future.
HB Racing continues under the leadership of Philippe Neidhart and product development/design under Torrance Deguzman and his genius designs.
Racing Team management will now be lead by Chad Phillips who is stepping up from his role as USA Team Manager.
Many new and exciting HB Racing products are in the pipeline.

************************************

I wonder where David's going.

My guess is that Infinity will play a huge role in next year drivers change.
The Infinity buggy is as good as ready for production so a team hast to be setup to win the races. And we know there is for the onroad gas and electric already a huge list of the best drivers in this world so I expect the same will happen with the buggy.

David Ronnefalk signed with Awesomeatix for on-road. That greatly narrows his possible 1/8th off road program. Pretty much leaves TLR and Mayako as his only options.

Agama would not be able to pay him. They can barely keep kits and parts in stock.

everyone will jump on Mayako if DR ends up there.

If he goes to TLR, I wouldn't be surprised if they clear some salary space and let some drivers go

Who they gonna let go, I don’t think they have many drivers on the payroll to begin with. I know of Cav and Dakotah.

Well that's interesting. Batlle switches to Gimar engies, which I've never heard of before, but they use Nova parts. Could this be what Novarossi has transitioned/morphed into?

If you did follow the brand you could have seen they are switching over to the OS made engines as many others did. All the new engines are OS
