Soak Bearings
My friend soaked his bearings in wd-40 overnight and now they spin just like new. I was thinking of doing this with mine but wasnt sure if its good or not for them.

WD-40 is a good bearing cleaner. But what it's meant to do is displace water not meant for a lubricant. But you have to relube the bearings with oil after soaking them in WD-40 for a few minutes of shaking/cleaning.
It's easier to just replace worn bearings than to remove all the bearing shields and you might lose them as well.

what kind of oil should I use to re-lube the bearings. I didnt remove the seals I just put them in wd-40 and I can already notice a big difference. I was thinking of putting some diff lube on them because its a grease and its easily available for me

I have a fresh bottle of Tamiya bearing oil for back up. But usally I use Bones Speed Cream...it's meant for skate board bearings so I figure why not if we're using them on 1/10 scale.

This bottle has lasted me over 2 years already...just one drop per bearing and you're good to go!
