I am at the outdoor park ice rink in our neighborhood now with the wife and kids and remembered in the summers these sit idle with some dirt and weeds and little activity. Has anyone ever thought of approaching the parks and recreation group that manages these about setting up a temporary track ? You could use bleachers as a drivers stand, hah.

Not sure if there is any merit to my idea...
