The 9400 is waaaaaaaaaaaaay faster. As far as wire clean up I usually do the twist method on my servo and esc wires.I take a thin ,long screwdriver and wrap it evenly around that and it coils the wires making them retract tighter.I see your in West Virginia matt,Any dirt tracks out there to run these?I am about 20 minutes from charlestown.Have you been to the coliseum out here in frederick? Our track is indoor asphalt but I need some smooth dirt to run my micros in.We have ramps for the track but it's just not the same lol

I had a mamba comp x on my mini t and it was so insane I had to sell it ,was to powerful and kept breaking itself. It was only fun in a straight line. You may run into the same problem but I guarantee......you will love it!!!!!

so which is better?

mamba sidewinder combo or losi combo?

and does the losi one come with low kv's

because all i have seen is like 6000kv...7400kv and 9400kv

so whats the 6000kv like? similiar to the mamba 6800? or 5400?

These are 280 sized, so they should have more torque than the mamba motors correct?

updating of the firmware can add new function, or options, or resolve problems. easier than sending back for updates.

No, Mamba motors are smaller, similar to 180's. The Xcelorin is larger - similar to a 280 as pinoyboy mentioned. Almost but not quite as big as a 300.

I just installed mine so we'll see how it compares to my Mamba 6800 smoothness wise. The programming card is pretty trick!

Well, mixed reviews from my system so far. The motor worked great at the races yesterday but the ESC had some issues out of the box. It was cutting out/ stuttering/ shutting down about 3 laps after charging the battery so I had to yank it out after even trying different things on the program card. Plugged the motor into my Mamba ESC and all worked fine after that which was enough to set TQ.

Am now trying to maybe update the firmware but the software has been very buggy as well. Installed software, then installed the driver, plugged in USB adapter and got the green light but when I launch the software it says it cannot connect to the usb adapter..... argghh.

Hey Ron,

Just tried the software and success! Last time I installed the software the wizard couldn't find the bridge driver off of the CD (windows xp). This time it found the software successfully.... weird.

Thanks for the help! Can't wait to try it again in a few weeks!

Mike
