WIP: 3d print project 1:24 scale replica 1984 TAMIYA GRASSHOPPER
Here's another one of my 5th replica TAMIYA project for 1:24 scale: The GRASSHOPPER. It took me about less than 24 hours to 3d model from scratch via Z-modeler. The kit designed for SUBOTECH 4WD platform but unlike the previous 3d print project i tricked out the front wheels to match the 2WD looks on 4WD drivetrains platform. So today i've completed the 3d model works an in another 24 hours later will start to do some 3d printing works. Hopefully i have enough spare ABS filament material to complete the printing since most already wasted on NISSAN KING CAB. Will keep you guys updated.

Thanks fastmax, btw you can download it now for free at my website.
I guess with 3d printer you no need to wait for manufacturer to build a re-release classic R/C and some mini's. Just custom build it at home.

Free download 3d print project: 1:24 scale 1984 TAMIYA GRASSHOPPER
Alright! I've completed my 3d model design and 3d print the model, i've published the 3d print file (*.STL) and also attached decals in zip file where you can download it for free at my website. (https://www.supermotoxl.com/real-obj...t-for-subotech) and also at Thingiverse website. Recomended to print it using ABS filament material with atleast 0.2mm printing resolution and don't forget to read the instruction first. Hope you guys enjoy my work and 3d print this classic 80's R/C off-road buggies. Next i'm off for another new 3d project. See you soon.

So I bought the Mini 8ight and decided I'd like to know what the stock top speed of this thing is on a 2s lipo once you change the gearing to match the recommendations in the manual. Here are my results.

Default Need King Cab body.

I need that King Cab body for my Losi mini-T. Let me know when it becomes available or if you are planning to release a free press 3D printer free program.

Mini Z question. In a photo posted by Dee Speed it appears you and some friends are using the Sanwa M12 radio for mini Z racing? Is there a special module needed to accept the use of the M12 and who makes it. Thanks for the advice. I just changed radio brand to sanwa.
