makikisingit lang po sa usapan. My opinion is that it is impractical na sama sama tayo lahat sa isang thread. Medyo magulo nga at mawawala ang flow nung discussion pag sama sama. Isang problem pa yung mis-interpretation. minsan may private joke ang isang group na na-misinterpret nung iba pwedeng simulan ng misunderstanding. Maganda yung ginagawa natin ngayon na on a per race event ang threads para continuous ang discussion about the event and na-aadvertise pa ng mabuti then after the event sarado na, gawa na lang ulit ng bago. Its a good motivation for organizers na continuously gumawa ng event. Mahirap kasi if we make a home thread, say Makati RC Speedway thread in our case, since yun na ang title ng thread, when we have an announcement for a certain race event at MRCS may chance na hindi makita nung ibang racers kasi hindi nila home thread, unless we make another thread just for that race event. so na-doble lang yung effort and thread. Another good thing about race event threads, racers from different groups get to interact with each other so nagkakaroon ng unity sa rc community. Then pag nagsarado na yung thread dahil tapos na yung event, they will look for other event threads or groups that they can join and interact with. It would be healthy for the rc community and variety for the racers.


But, anywhich way is ok. Sometimes things work here just as it is. Gumugulo lang minsan pag kino-control at binabago.

oldskul: not trying to control anything .... just trying to get people to converge more - not just at the track, but even here in rctech. some may think its a bad idea to merge the topics (and there are valid points that have been raised) but the intent of that suggestion was all good. personally, i think there are pluses and minuses on both options so i guess its really up to you all on what you want..... honestly i was also wondering why there had to be three different threads for offroad as well... but i guess they have their reasons too. anyway, as mentioned it was just a thought. not forcing anything on anyone. dont worry, as mentioned in the other thread, my moderator status has been in cold storage for the longest time and i intend to keep it that way.

to continue.... i can also see why other groups tend to get alienated from the on-road thread. but i think the only reason why is because the on-road thread eventually became a "capitol racers" (note, i hate branding .... they are just racers, not capitol racers ) dominated thread. But its only because the boys there are always in high spirits, enthusiastic and probably the most frequent to log in to this message board than the mojority of others who come in here. yes, maybe they can tend to dominate the boards and maybe shy away other people, but thats only because makukulit sila and they're serious when it comes to having fun. not saying others aren't kasi kwela naman in general mga ep racers, i guess those in the on-road thread can just be more rowdy than others. hehehe if anything, i just feel that if that kind of fun spirit can rub off on everyone else starting here in rctech, it will eventually spill over at the races and we also start hanging out with each more outside of rctech.

ive been in this hobby way too long and ive seen the days when it was 3 times the size of what it is now. there's a lot of work that needs to bring it back even a fraction of what it was in the past. hopefully there is real effort and sincerity to bring the community back together. its will take every one of us to make that happen.

anyway, back to rc ....
