Hello, sir! I think I had read before somewhere in the rc tech forums that you used to race the Duratrax Evader.
Yes, I run both Duratrax Evader BX Pro and ST Pro. After a few birth pains during the first few races, the kits are holding up fine. I had only broken a BX rear tower and an ST rear toe block, so far.
I'm still at the learning stage. I'm still trying to learn and improve my driving and also trying to learn and understand more about off-road setup dynamics. I'd like to see how far me and these Duratrax kits can go.
----------
emer:
Thank you for answering my query regarding Lipo batteries. Balak ko bumili pa din ng Team Orion Platinum. Isa lang muna, siguro. Testing, he he.
----------
emer, ish, and countless others whom I fail to mention: Thank you guys, for checking out and taking care of the tracks. QCRCCC members are lucky that we have you guys that are putting so much heart and effort into our hobby. We're also lucky that no serious damage happened to the track and facilities.
----------
to everyone: I hope you, your families and loved ones are all safe and recovering well after "Milenyo."
P.S. Meralco, sana magka-kuryente na sa Los Banos. I still need to desolder a vented cell and solder a new cell and a few other electronic thingys in preparation for the next race.
And, I also miss ice-cold drinks.

noel,
Ano sira ng pc mo? software or hardware talaga?
Vr2l, rhan, and there 1/8 scales inquires,
As an officer of the QCRCCC, I will answer your question.
Yes indeed truggy have more powerful engine and transmission and so.
But the big heavy wheels, stills slows down the kit. Not even the top drivers in the tracks could break-into the 11 laps mark.
You know what kits are highly capable?
Electric 2wd, 4wd, stadium.
1/8 buggies drivers would NOT be satisfied to run their kits here, because of the small size of the track in terms of lane, jumps, etc. . Mabibitin ka lang. and 1/8 will just damage the tracks.
Thats why its not allowed.
Just post in the off-road thread on the update when and where will there be a new off-road track.

wheelspinner: I personally saw that buggy in Thailand. Ang ganda sobra! Parang pareho ng design ng Yoke. Very tempting indeed.

In the truggy and monster truck class there in no defenite engine displacement because its unlimited also in the electric monster truck, thats why they can use lipo bats.... the higher the size the more difficult to tame the beast inside.
