Well, what i think is better to be consistent and drive smoothly. Braking will only slow you down and please remember that when you brake or bang into another person, the current drawn out from your battery to the ESC will be greater than if you do a smooth driving as in fast in fast out when u take the corner and etc. When your battery current is drawn out more to the ESC, you will dump faster and has less run time. So that is why in the world race, anyone who makes a mistake will not be forgiven, they will loose the race as they are using 8T motor with insane gearing ratio. I hope that helps and explain why the A main drivers has plenty of run time left after their run.

You racing here with your NTC3? Where?

Heats are usually 5 minutes. Usually a racer is given 3 heats.

A main final can vary from 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on available time.

As for starting, I believe in the heats is stagger starting. But then like the kiasuness in all of us, everybody starts together.

I believe the mains always start all in one go. I could be wrong.

As for rules specifically for the car, as long as you have a .12 engine on a 1/10 TC, then that's legal. No rules on the bodyshell, pipes or turbo plugs... There is no weight control either. Unless of course it is an international invitation race or something like that. As for transponder, it's the conventional AMB system not the new personal AMB transponder. All of this of course changes from race to race or whoever organises it.

Fuel is 25% nitro. Tire is usually rubber. But slowly going to foams now. Just had a race on foams and everybody had a blast. So although slow, I think the foam tire trend is catching up.
