S350 2012 Version
In preparation for next season relative newcomer S-WORKz has jumped the gun and unveiled their 2012 challenger, logically titled 'S350 BK1 2012'. Based off it's predecessor the original BK1 the updated 2012 car comes with a 4mm longer chassis and 3mm longer rear chassis brace - the result; improvements in steering & stability. Interestingly S-WORKz have been working on their fuel tank, now with a double O-Ring design which increases the engine & fuel pressure. Whilst the new car is available as a standalone product, owners of the existing BK1 can purchase the SW-330099A upgrade package which includes the longer chassis and brace.

Hurriedly announced back in September, S-WORKz' highest profile signing Taylor James had his race debut at the 2011 JConcepts Southern Nationals in Monroe Louisiana, whilst running well it didn't quite end as well as a broken receiver forced him to retire. Despite this a buoyant Taylor reflected on his first race with the new car, "For it being the first race with the car I was very happy with the on track performance. I learned a lot on setup and feel pretty comfortable with it now. I struggled a little bit when the track blew out but I just had to find the right shock setup. Overall I think we have a fast car and competitive car."
Taylor James finished A-Main 6th in the 2008 Worlds with Hong Nor and was in the Semi's of the 2010 Worlds with Losi.

S-Power!
I have been racing and practising with my 1st S-Power S7 for a long time now(4 races and many practise runs) and its still going strong. I didn't change any parts as of yet on this engine besides some plugs. Many that are using this power plant and also the S3 are very happy with its power and stability. Most use it with the S-Workz Femca TB1 Pipe which is very affordable. In this coming MNL quite a few of the racers are powered by S-Power engines. I wish them all the best of luck and am sure they will be Happy with these OS base made in Japan engines.

We will fit our S350s with the Bitty Design Force Body for this weekend's race. I also made some minor set up changes like the Rear Toe Block to 2.5 Degrees, Thicker Rear Stabilizer Bar and Shock mount positions. Now my S350 is on rails so its time to get it abit Wild. Haha....See you guys this weekend.

Team S-Workz Malaysia
It was a good outing for Team S-Workz Malaysia. Ramesh, Sasi, Ahmad, Wei and myself ran our S350s without any big issues. The 5000, 7000 and 3000 Diff setting really is ideal and you can attack the track with this set up.
I qualified with 2 15lap runs in the heats and finished A Main 5th in the muddy conditions. Could run the car the way I like it and can attack the corners and jumps better with the Bitty Design Force Shell.
Sasi did well and bumped up to the A's convincingly in the Intermediate Class and completed the final in the Top 8.
Ahmad enjoyed himself in his 1st major race outing with the S350 2012 and am learning about driving and pit work. He had a Super power plant in the S-Power S7. Sometimes over shooting the corners with it.
Ramesh was again super in helping out the team but had to leave early due to family commitments.
Wei ....... Wei.......Rushed like hell as usual to get his S350 running but in the end enjoyed his S3 powered S350. Sorry to be so hard on you but do send me your car before the next race so I can prep it for you nicely.
We had 2 good friends in Daniel Khaw and Thomas Teo who helped us thru out the race. Thank you guys.
Will have so much fun again in the coming weekend and next race with TEAM S-Workz!!!!! Bravo to you all!!!!!
Team : Do come over to 1 utama for a nice S-Workz Dinner this week.
