I have noticed that Amain has zero Futaba surface TX in stock. I was going to get a new radio however going with Futaba now concerns me since the stock is not there and has not been for a while now. What is going on with this ?

This has been happening for a while now. Someone in the forum mentioned that Futaba's US distributor is closing shop and Futaba was in negotiations to getting a new one.
I don't think there is a need to be concerned as they have been around forever and I'm sure things would work out soon.

To my Understanding when Horizon Hobby purchased Hobbico,great planes etc that included futaba distribution that had to be reset up with there company. so there is going to be a transition period where there will little to no product while this happens. I am sure they are working on it as fast as possible to get product flowing again, but for know all we can do is wait and see.

Good news! Futaba products are now slowly starting to come back into stock. Futaba did open there new U.S. Distribution center and are now fulfilling our orders.

It is because Futaba has raised there prices.
