Never again

I would consider opening a second oval track in the area, as land is not a problem. It's my present location, and money. My family owns 200 acres in the Pride/Baywood area. I live in the Gonzales area. Too far to travel.

If I had that much property if open both an oval and off road , the off road racing in the area is actually pretty strong, maybe run the oval on Friday and off road Saturday or something cater to both groups see which really takes off I myself prefer off road, we ran a 1/8 late model at the new track in denham, just was a little too chaotic for me , and grew racing karts , modifieds, sprints and mini sprints

You were at the last race at Hoot? I remember someone being there that had a racing background, besides Clayton. I know the Thornhill name.

What do you mean chaotic? Too fast paced, or the crashing? 7 cars could be bit much for the track. I would prefer no more than 5, but everyone races under the same conditions I do.

It's a Hoot Speedway is the Facebook.

I'm in south Louisiana. It a 6-1/2 drive one way for me. At the moment, my racing budget is small. Real small. A trip like that would kill it, lol. Otherwise, I would love to travel some. 20 years ago, we would travel almost every weekend, from Waco, to Pensacola.

Does y'all's track have a FB?

Y'all still race the real cars? I would imagine if y'all do, you would be racing those too.

Na we sold out of it , too expensive plus the kids were wanting to start racing and it was too hard trying to let them do something and try to go race big cars

J Clayton has pretty much gotten out of it. He still has a car, but he's having too much fun with the kids racing RC.

I run an RC club (only minimalist 1/14th at the moment) at Madison Prep. Owner was happy to provide. Thing is we have a huge fresh concrete parking lot now. Would there be interest in a parking lot onroad 1/10 ep touring or so? Money would go to the school most likely but still. Trying to gauge interest before introducing the idea of expanding our club to the owner.
