Those flameout's are doing you no favor's. Any idea why it's flaming out.... plug? flywheel tap? too rich on bottom end? idle speed too low? You gotta get this figured out.

Chilson-- are you running a nitro TeamC car? Which one?

I think it might have been too rich on the bottom end. Grants nephew helped me out with my engine and did a hell of a job! We didn't have enough time to get it to a full race tune.

Lou I agree great to see kids on the drivers stand.
for those that were not there you missed out. The racing was very organized, everyone I talked to smiled and said they were having a good time, and we got done at eight. AND, the buggy, truggy, ebuggy classes made everything far easier and let everyone know where they stack up.

For those that do not know, the track was swept and the sides/fluff were watered down which allowed a bit of a groove to form. This lets the traction come up which is obviousley a plus over the dust bowl we had before, but the side effect is slightly greater tire wear. So just a heads up for those buying tires, plan accordingly or buy mediums. I believe once the track is rebuilt we will continue to prep the track in this way but dont qoute me on it.

I ran Proline M3 Blockades on buggy through the qualifiers and wear was a little higher than on a wet track. I ran M3 Big blox in the main and there was not much wear on them. I think the X3 compound tire would be much better.

With this kind of track prep it should really cut down on needing so many different styles of tires. I think this is a huge plus. If your using the Proline tires the X3 compound is definitely the way to roll. This is all I plan to use at DB. I've even got it down to about 3 tread types.

I ran Diamond Back X2's all season last year and loved them. I only used two sets the entire summer.

Vp pro Axe man in medium with the orange foams worked really well for me during the warmer part of the day.... not very good when the sun went down ...then it was time for a softer tire

It's good to hear the tire reports. We were at the track yesterday and Dillon got started breaking in his motor, hopefully we'll be out this weekend for some racing! Sounds like y'all are having too much fun!
