Guys, this sounds great! The sooner the start time on Sunday the better IMO. Longer mains and bump ups +1 for me. I am really looking forward to this. Get rid of the carpet crap and lets all do some off road!

Im all for what evers best and what will get the most people here.
Im sure the guys running it will be flexible and find what best suits everybody.
I think a earlier startime would be better also, maybe 10 or 11am start.

Rick Riggs is a very stand up guy and Im glad to hear he will be involved with the electric program!! I think he has done a great job in years past at Jcp and will continue to do so in the future at Hcrcrc.

I really would also like to see longer mains 10min+ would be awesome.
quals dont matter so much to me, although 6 or 7 would be good aswell.

If the racing program is run smoothly a 1 Pm start time shouldnt be an issue. If its run rough well then.

I'd expect it to go rather swimmingly, maybe a startup hicup. Frank and Rick are pretty good at handling the nitro shows so I dont think thats an issue at all!

think 10min+ mains!!!!lol

Ok, so we have Mr Borlando down for 10+ minute mains, anyone else

Maybe some of you guys can post up the start time you would like to see so we can get an idea. I believe Rickster was shooting for that noon-1:00 so if the majority wants noon than we can shoot for that. I will most likely be there for the first couple shows for sure to help Rick out but if I go pulling double duty too much it will most likely put me in divorce court pretty quickly. Also I think Rick was planning to open the doors about 9:00 or so for practice.

I'm definitely thinking noon at the earliest. Waking up early on a Sunday morning kind of sucks. Also, at least on my end of it, my attendance may be sort of slow till the NFL Season is over

-1 on 10 min mains. I mean why??? On a big track with new 4600's I dumped in mod truck right around the 10 min mark. 4whl would for sure dump with nimh. A lot of us racers have switched to lipo but not everyone. Just because some can go longer doesnt mean we should. Some say its more for your money, I guess. Most club races are over in 5 min anyway.

My opinions:

Open/start time 8-9am start at 12:30-1

Entry: $15 3 heats and a main

Races 6 min quals 6-7 min main

Bump ups, sure why not, if they can be ready. But how often do we have a
b main at a club race anymore. The track is gonna be plenty big so 10 car mains are easy. I hope we get lots of entries to have b or c mains.

Ive been doing some undercover carpet racing lately and they are able to handle the whole bump up thing, so surely we could figure it out!! plus they had 50 entries the other nite. The scoring should accomodate 12 cars and the track will have 12' lanes at the new track.

also 10min is not set in stone, just a thought i had. For people that have lipos why not use them to their real potential? Maybe it could be an exhibition in Mod buggy or something, Most of the guys I know that will be running mod have lipos so maybe thats a possibility. As Mod seems to have a small following here anyways.

I just picked ten because Ive read about 20min truck mains. Adam maybe you just have to slow down a little to increase your run time. hehehe

I would love to run mod truck, and to be honest, hope it isnt a taper pin traction hero track either. But if it its im prepared.
