Hello all I am looking for any RC people in my area i live in south Ga near Valdosta i am not a racer as of yet but would like to know of any races near me
i have 2 ClodBuster and an HPI Racing Savage 25 that i am trying to to get running i am Novice to Nitro RC so i have lots to learn. any info i can get is very much appreciated.

Hello Zep, Well the first advice I would give is to go visit a local track, but I did a quick Google of what is in the Valdosta area and it looks pretty empty of RC Shops or tracks. The closest track is in Albany about 1.5 hours from you. You may be able to meet some Valdosta folks there. Otherwise check out the numerous youtube videos on the art of tuning. In the PNB video Adam Drake mentions it can take years to master that skill.

check out Chehaw RC Raceway in Albany. They post all of their race info on facebook. The have a race every month with a good turnout.

we have no RC shops around here at all. i get parts online. their is an old gocart track that's been closed for years old dirt track i should convert to RC cars lol

Looks like all of the Ga tracks are way north of you. Albany, Savanaha , Henry County, Loganville , Augusta and Dalton. These are all,the main tracks in Ga. you may want to check Florida since you are so close.
