Just a thought but would it not be a good idea to talk to the county to see what it will take to get this place up and running. Before you put a lot off work into it. If what i have heard is true you need to talk to Cesar as well. I think he holds the lease or something. don't get me wrong would love to see this place open. Just would not like to see everyone put in a lot of work for nothing.
R held the lease. It has come to my attention the the weekend of the 24th is memorial weekend and many of us have plans. So maybe we should postpone cleanup till more information comes to light.

It was greg from farmers that did all the leg work & contacts I have his # but would rather not give it out so I'm sure one of you guys that use to run over there know how to get in touch with him or louie they both tried but not enough people came on board to help out, also what about Ron H ran with him at quaker steak last week sure he can point you guys in right direction since him & dan started this track before.

I have been going through the channels. Trying to get the county to let me cleanup the track area and start a new club. but that was before the indoor track closed. I have been working on it for about 6 months. and I think I am close to getting a answer. no promises though. I work for the county my self so I know this kind of stuff takes some time. I will keep at though!

here is the update on adrenaline. I spoke to the county parks and recreations director. he has advised me that is ok to race here. now the bad news. the track needs new asphalt, it will cost 4500.00 to repave it. the current asphalt is in terrible shape. the drivers stand needs a little work. we also need a lap counting system, this is a big expense. the container needs a lot of work. vandals have done a lot of damage to it. it will take lots of time and money to get this track back to its former glory. unfortunately I don't have either at this time. it would be nice to see this track up and running again.
