So, I can see how they justified the $600 price tag with the .12 by putting a second crap engine in the box. but what are we getting for 600 here, almost twice the price of their previous highest end models. a couple bearings and a pipe?
JP has historically been one of the most expensive engines in offroad at $500, seems like Nova is trying to price themselves out of any possible club racing.

if you break everything down as to what it would cost to buy separate then the engine comes out to be like 325Originally Posted by brianhatesnitro

FYI - I spoke with Jim at Fusion recently and it sounds like the US based team drivers are running this motor in both buggy and truggy with 7mm & 6.5 mm venturi's with good results. (testing the 9mm exhaust reducer to follow)

I expected mind numbing white knuckle power given the most recent crop of motors released from the manufacturers. But the 367 power delivery is strong and smooth across a wide rev range, revs higher also and mileage is greatly improved over past Nova motors I have owned (6.5 mm venturi/no exhaust reducer w/9901 and nova smooth flow short manifold). Very driveable!
BTW - in speaking with some of the team Losi drivers (Travis, Mike) they have been running this motor as of late with the 6.5mm venturi very good results in both buggy and truggy.
So far, so good!
