I'm not sure I will wait for Xpress to produce vertical top-decks for the mid or I design them myself...
the wires run under the top deck and the lower part of the belt is near the bottom deck loads of clearance

More of clearance above the upper deck... The wires don't even touch the body lol

Ok Xpress, we need a aluminium chassis and vertical upper-decks for Mid now!

you can get split lower bulkhead for the xq1 soon, the rear bulkheads from the xpress ft1 when available will fit front and rear of the xq1 (was said in unboxing video )

Default Low grip asphalt setup

I run on a parking lot and having issues with rear grip. Front is good, kind of over sensitive. Need to figure out how to make it more consistent and comfortable. I have the on power rear toe kit installed. Would this be part of the issue?

Im not a pro but I remember something i learned that was important. If the front is twitchy and the rear loses traction early move weight back to solve the problem. But because the car goes from accel to decel you need to take that into account. I move my ride height a little but not much. What has been working for me is droop. Less droop in the front under accel means their is a big increase in load before the tires come off the ground. Mine dont come off the ground but the visual helps you understand how the weight moves slowly to the back when the front springs are helping and when the front springs are extended allot of weight moves back. The opposite is true on the brakes.

Rear toe in adds traction to rear wheels. Stiffer front springs and a little front toe in will make the front less sensitive.

I tried it, have switched back to rear mount for the time being. Under hard acceleration the mid car felt tweaked and it would veer right. Other than that, it did carry more corner speed and was more nimble but I couldn't drive it consistently with the tweak issue.

I'm pretty happy with it. I've been running the XQ1S for a while now and have had good results with it, and only recently got the XQ1. I might throw the mid conversion on the XQ1S so I can work on the tweak issue while keeping the XQ1 as my main runner.

The XQ1 Mid alu decks will be available in around 2-3 weeks. We have been busy doing FF things so it pushed manufacturing back.

When will these be offered as a kit in mid motor form? Makes no sense to spend money on the kit itself then have to buy a conversion kit.

Any rebuild parts for the xpress DCJs yet ? Will the Radtec case work on the xpress joints ? Seems the xpress ones are always out of stock. The Yeah Racing ones are more money , are they any better.
