Hey tlk to me on MSN.
As for carpet, some foams, The Fast Tyre foams for $14 for 4 on rcmart.com is a great deal. They should last you like 30runs so pick up 3 sets, for $42 you cant go wrong and will be set for a couple of months.
you could order some things like a selection of spurs and pinions, a few spare gears and arms etc. Finally, some bits and bobs like body pins etc

A lathe is where there is a lathe (of course ) which cuts a thin peice of copper off of the comm which makes the motor comm as good as new, this helps the performance of the motor as it keeps it in tip top condtion , i can't see a lathe on rcmart but here is one from rc mushroom and a few examples, lathes

Setup tools (Camber Gauges, droop blocks, & height thingys) would be good if you don't have them yet.
