Tips on closed endbell motors?

Nothing will happen. Our bodies have very high resistance to DC voltages. But if you have a AC voltage of just 9V and freq. of 2KHZ that would give you a nasty shock. Thats because our skin has capacitance. Which means that the higher the Freq. of the AC voltage the lower the resistance.

fully charged 6 cell sub c battery pack, connect the + & - together and put your finger there.

people, electricity is dangerous, dont fool around with it. rubber gloves are cheap. hell or you can wrap your fingers with used condoms that will work too.

Guys, gotta thank you all for giving me a good laff for the day...
As for above "Dare" re 7.2V across your finger/skin/skull etc etc... yeah, done all that before in the past. Tried 14.4V too.
Results:-
Dry finger... not much happens that's worth reporting.
Darn sight more "tingle-y" if you stick the contacts on your tongue though.

Theoreticaly it may happen but practicaly it will not happen. Motor draws 2 amps........so? thats not dangerous to you its going through the motor. I dipped a motor today, no ill results. i say to everyone just do it.
Shall we get back to performance tips........?
Im at a miss with the com drops, putting them on during break in does........what?
What are comm drops (Chemicaly)? and how do they help performance?

TIP: Dip your motor everynow and then to clean it out well. add some detergent to the water for a better result. Experiment with additives to the water, i use a certain product that has the effect of polishing the comm (due to a very fine granular material in the cleaner)
540 is one of the most enjoyable classes: Motors are cheaps, tires last ages, batteries hardly count and everyone is sooo close!
