I just got a TT01 Type E. I want to get some upgrades for it.
Here is what I have planned:
-graphite upper deck
-front and rear sways
-heat sink
-alum shaft and joints
-bearing set
-alum steering
TRF shocks
-alum locking wheel hubs
What else is good to get? Does anyone make a lower graphite chassis?

Ok, do I order directly from 3Racing?

Take note that the TT01E steering is different (better) that the TT01/TT01D/TT01R.

Here is the link to 3racings website - (http://www.3racing.hk/main.php)
I have never ordered anything from 3racing before. I have no idea how good their customer service is. I do know that they have been making aftermarket parts for many different cars for quite some time. Back when the Tamiya F201 was still available, 3racing made one of the better carbon chassis upgrade kits for that car.
You can find the 3racing TT-01 chassis available on ebay as well. I believe that there are 2 different chassis kits, one for the TT-01E and one for the TT-01. Here is a link to a TT-01 & 3racing search I did today (http://shop.ebay.com/items/__tt-01-3..._sopZ12QQ_scZ1)
Hope this information helps.

More than 28t pinions on 55t spurs?
Ok i've read through the gearing threads but i still have a question, can i fit larger pinions (more than 28 teeth) to a 55 tooth spur? As I don't fancy doing the 52t spur conversion.
Also are the gears 48 pitch or not? And are they only .6?
Great forum by the way and thanks for any help.

The gears are not 48 pitch, they are the metric 0.6 pitch. HPI came out with a nice set of 0.6 pinions.

I have just found this joy of drifting thru a fren of mine. Both of us are newbies.
I went and bought the Tamiya TT01-type E RTR model without the Drift Specs. On top of that I also purchased a set of drift tires from Tamiya.
What are the main recommendations for 1st time upgrades? I am totally lost at the moment!!
