Default Changing Direction

Hi every one,

So what changes do you make to make your touring cars change direction faster through twisty sections especially on carpet, Any one think roll bars help?

Thanks

Extra roll stiffness will help, roll bars and/or stiffer springs/dampers will move you in the right direction.

Stiffer may also remove overall grip too, so don't lose the setup balance.

What kind of car, type of carpet, tires, mod or stock, etc...
But generally find a good setup on car companies web site as a starting point and then tune to your driving style and track.

Hi

My first post was aimed at Touring cars in general, so it seems that stiffening the suspension is one of the ways to change direction faster. So harder springs, less droop and a slightly thinner oil. But has any one else got comments on how a roll/sway bar will effect a cars ability to change direction on a twisty carpet track.

Cheers

roll bars generally take car reaction away, unless you your shock oil/springs are soo soft.
roll bars are generally used on tracks that are bumpy or very high grip abnd you want some less front grip/body roll
