It’s amazing how much conjecture there is on this car when nobody knows a God darn thing about the car until you get your hands on it, it’s like going on a regular car forum and listen to people piss and moan about stupid stuff.

Asking the questions to help decide whether to buy or not. Buy to find out is not the way

Well you know when the car has Josh Cyruls attention, there is something to it!

lookoing at the pictures on FB and petitrc, there's a ton of room between the upper outer balljoint and the wheel, so definitely can space that up / down.

upper "bulkhead" isn't lined up with the eccentrics (the eccentrics are further inboard and looks to be inline with the top deck); so maybe shim under there.

Hopefully the manual gets uploaded soon. I'm quite curious to see how the lower arms attach, how long they are front inner to outer pivot and how easy/difficult it will be to make roll center adjustments.
Lower arm mounts with inserts(?)

Theres friction in every car. But having a bigger pulley will increase tooth engagement vs a small 19t pulley with its strongest point being inline with its center.
There is a benefit from the battery hangover if you know how to tune and it very well may have been factored into its design.

Thats more of what I was thinking of.

I think hes more intrigued by it not being the 'normal' right now.
Hes a designer and tinker'er ..... He'll go fast with any car.

Of course there's friction in every car. There's also inertia in every car. This car has more of both. That larger pulley only increases engagement on that specific pulley though, it still uses smaller pulleys on the front and rear belts.

Though in mod it's mostly irrelevant since they've got an excess of power.

Is there a way to calculate how much more of both?

Yes but not without the technical drawings or parts in hand to measure. Rotational inertia is pretty much just mass times radius squared, more complex shapes complicates the math a bit. Friction is going to be approximately 50% more than a 2 belt car assuming equivalent material for the belts, when only considering the central part of the drivetrain. If you include the wheel bearings etc too it'll be less than 50% more.

Although in fairness, its the same idea that was on the original Kickstarter from back in 2015.

Scroll down to about half way, and you'll see arm inserts.

On the topic of arm mounting. Pretty sure the arms are on a split pin style, and held captive with grub screws. If you look at underneath shots, there are three grubs inside the bulkhead mounting screws. Middle one probably is to hold diff cam in place, and outer two are to clamp the arm hinge pins. Whether there is a way to change the RC, not sure, awaiting the manual to see exactly how this is done.

Exactly I agree. Hey if you have reservations save your money and go to another chassis forum.
