Dumper uses it a lot but he also uses the PFM-10 a lot too. Like I said the Vette is close to the PFM-10 in handling but the GT is a mile different. I would probably run McAllisters C6 before the GT.
Cool, I'll give that body a try this weekend. I can always use more steering, lol.

I run the ford GT and have never had an issue with steering. I have also run the pfm-10. I don't see the huge amount of steering loss that you speak of when going from the pfm-10 to the gt. not saying that you are wrong, just that i didn't see it. at my track i am consistently faster with gt.

I have done same day back to backs on the following.
MX-Stang from McAllister
PFM-10
Ford GT
C6 Vette from McAllister

It was a lot of work and a long day but the quickest body on a technical track was the MX-Stang with the PFM-10 right in it's tracks. Both had great steering. I prefered the PFM-10 because our track uses flappers and it covers the tires better. The C6 was next again with good steering but it is a very wide body and its polar moment makes it sensitive to traction rolling without a setup change. The GT was last in the 4 body test at almost .2 seconds a lap slower (10.5 second layout) than the MX of PFM. This was while running my highest steering setup which wasn't needed on the others. Now as I stated this was a tight technical track which is typical of our club races. On the bigger Indoor Champs track the field was dominated by GTs and I was running the MX. That track was a more open and flowing layout so maybe that was why. Since that test I have added the C7 Vette and I can match the fast lap time of the PFM-10 but I can't match the averages. It just seems that it has a little less steering and therefore I can't be as consistent with it. These are just my personal testing. Interestingly last spring at a regional race I had .3 on the field another good racer asked how I was doing it. I pointed to his body (GT). He went in the hobby shop and got a PFM and instantly picked up most of the delta. Again though this was a tight technical track.

The only body I have not had success with for me is the C6. I've tried the PF Vette and it is a little edgey for me. It does not quite corner as well for me in the corners. The Mustang works very good as does the Ford GT and PFM10. Try them on your track like Old Dude did and see which one works for your layout.
This past weekend we went outdoors and the majority had the Ford GT with one pfm10 and one Caddy. It was the Nationals track from 2 years ago. Last year at the birds the majority has the Ford GT and the PFM10. Again testing for your favorite for your track layout.

There are the 4 bodys that were legal in World GT and that was one of them. The Sophie GT and Giana and CRC made one. They are "not" legal for the WGT-R cars.

It should be legal it resembles a lot of other cars on the list and it's based on an Aston Martin. Some the others are not based on real cars. I don't object to that, but I don't understand why it would be removed.

It's simple those 4 bodies were legal for a class we don't race anymore.(World GT) The Sophie Gt is a real car also but I don't believe it was ever raced. Simple - you have lots of LEGAL bodies to choose from ?

I think I t's a great looking body and should be added to the list. It looks like the PFM-10 and it's 200MM.

Both pfm10 and the new vette are both 190mm and fit fine.

I think 190mm is good. I think 200mm would be better for some chassises. It's nice to have more choices. Since the two bodies a very similar why not add it?
