This year's IIC is following the "official" rules originally posted here. Same as last year.

Just got a genx-10 SE and saw that the battery can only mount inline, compared to the RT where it can mount sideways as well. What's the general consensus on battery position in this class? WGTR is not a popular class by me, but I figure it will be a fun way to practice with a pan car.

Otherwise, in-line would be my choice for carpet tracks.
If you look back at Dumper's posts, you will find the two methods for adapting the the rear pod of the SE to the taller rubber used in WGT-R. I did prefer using CRC's F1 motor brackets to get the SE to a 5mm ride height in the rear.
At last year's IIC, I did let a friend use my SE conversion for WGT-R; and, he made it to the A-Main with it. So, it has plenty of potential.

Hey, havent quite made it through the last 2x pages of the thread. If I missed the answer or if its later let I apologize. HPI sells the Falken 2012 Porsche GT3 RSR body and Im not sure if this is the one approved? It states 206/210mm width. I assume its legal as long as the chassis/tire width remains 200mm?
